Using the site

Indian Takeaway.uk is a directory and ordering service connecting customers with independent Indian takeaways. Browsing is free. We do not charge platform service fees, card fees or admin fees, and we do not take commission from restaurants on orders.

Orders

• Your order is sent directly to the takeaway, which is responsible for accepting, preparing and delivering it.
• Prices, minimum orders and delivery areas are set by each takeaway.
• Payment is made to the takeaway — cash or card on delivery where offered.
• To change or cancel an order, contact the takeaway directly as soon as possible. Refunds are handled by the takeaway.

Restaurant owners

Owners can claim their listing by verifying ownership. Claimed owners can manage their menu, prices and delivery details. Featured membership (£19.99/month) is optional and can be cancelled at any time. Menus and offers must be accurate and kept up to date.

Accuracy

We work from official food-hygiene register data and owner-provided information, but menus, opening hours and availability can change. The takeaway confirms the final price and availability when it accepts your order.
